Armenian Foreign Minister meets OSCE Minsk Group chairmen in Paris
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaArmenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan met the co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group on Nagorno-Karabakh during his visit to Paris, RIA Novosti said, citing an Armenian Foreign Ministry statement. Nalbandyan met Yury Merzlyakov (Russia), Bernard Fassier (France), and Robert Bradtke (US) on Tuesday morning. He also met the personal representative of OSCE head Andzhei Kasprshik.
“During the meeting that took place on Tuesday morning there was a discussion of the latest developments in negotiations on a settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and also the possibility of a visit by the co-chairmen to the region,” the statement read.
The co-chairmen informed Nalbandyan about the results of their meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, which took place on March, 5 in Paris.
"Nalbandyan called on the co-chairmen to pay attention to the continuing efforts of the Azerbaijani side to corrupt the essence and sense of the negotiations,” the statement also said.
Nalbandyan also said that the conflict’s resolution was impossible without the participation of the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities.
