Turkish Air Forces attack PKK militants in Hakkari Province

The Turkish Air Forces attacked bases of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party in the Hakkari Province last night. Several militants were killed and an attack on a police station prevented, Trend reports.

The Turkish conflict with the Kurdistan Workers' Party has been ongoing for over 25 years. The PKK demands independence. The UN and the European Union recognize the PKK as a terrorist organization.
