Washington has called on the Armenian authorities to revise a law on radio and television. US state secretary Hillary Clinton said at a meeting with the representatives of non-governmental organizations that Washington shares the wariness of the OSCE and the EU about the proposed law, which limits a pluralism of opinions, Armenia Today reports.

According to Clinton, this issue was discussed during her meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. She noted that the Armenian government is going to introduce amendments to the law this autumn. The law attracted the attention of the international community over its monopolistic character and reduction of the number of TV channels.
