Russian PM initiates Public Television

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed an order to fulfill the decree of April 17, 2012, and launched the Public Television of Russia Organization, Interfax reports.

The non-commercial organization will be the founder, editor and broadcaster of the Public Television.

The Ministry for Communications, Ministry for Economic Development and the Finances Ministry were ordered to present proposals on forming property lists for the organization in 2012.

The director general and the Russian Justice Ministry were ordered to register the organization in 2 weeks.
