China wants peaceful discussions of Iranian nuclear issue

Chinese deputy representative to the UN, Wang Min, called for peaceful negotiations after a report of the committee for sanctions against Iran at the UN Security Council, Trend reports.

The official said that the Iranian nuclear program affects the nuclear non-proliferation regime and stability in the Middle East.

Wang Min noted that maintenance of contacts and encouragement of positive dialogue tendencies are the key issues. China wants dialogue, cooperation and constructive approach for all-sided, long-term and rational settlement of the Iranian problem.
