US does not use Uzbeki airports for military cargo

The US does not use Uzbeki airports to transport military cargo for

the operation in Afghanistan, the American Ambassador to Uzbekistan, George Krol, in an interview to the Fergana news agency.

"The US does not use Navoyi airport or any other airport in Uzbekistan for

air transportation of military cargo to Afghanistan and back,"

the ambassador said, RIA Novosti reports.

In his interview the ambassador also addressed several other issues.
