Ahmadinejad: Bin Laden should have been tried

The president of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes that the head of Al-Qaeda Osama Bin Laden should have been tried in court rather than killed, RIA Novosti reports.

“I would be happy to see an open official process which would find out true reasons for developments in recent years,” the Iranian president told CNN yesterday in New-York after his speech in the UN General Assembly.

The pentagon has many times stated that the special services had no opportunity to capture alive “the number one terrorist.”  No photo, videos, and documents about the operation of his capturing were published.
