Hillary Clinton concludes South Caucasian tour

to Georgia by departing back to the US at 18.30 local time, News
Georgia reports.
At the airport she was seen off by Georgia’s first lady, Sandra
Elizabeth Rulofs, together with her children, Georgian Foreign
Minister Grigol Vashadze and the US ambassador to Georgia John Bass.
Clinton’s last meeting was with the leaders of the two Georgian
opposition party leaders – leader of the Christian-Democrats, Georgiy
Tarmagadze, and the ex-ambassador to the UN and leader of the ‘Our
Georgia – Free Democrats’ movement, Irakliy Alasaniya.
Clinton held meetings with women-leaders and official negotiations.
She spent over 2 hours at the presidential residence, participating in
Georgian-US negotiations. Then she had a one-on-one meeting with
Mikhail Saakashvili, after which they visited Old Tbilisi.
Hillary Clinton arrived in Tbilisi from Yerevan. It was her final
visit within the framework of the eastern European tour that started
on July 1st. Before Georgia she visited Ukraine, Poland, Azerbaijan
and Armenia.
