Iranian presidential advisor jailed for offending supreme leader

Iranian Presidential Advisor for Mass Media Ali Akbar Javanfekr has been convicted to 6 months of prison in Tehran for offending Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, RIA Novosti reports.

Javanfekr was sentenced to half a year of prison in January. He will not be allowed to work with political parties, groups and associations and mass media organizations.

He was convicted to a year of prison in November for publishing illegal pictures offending Islamic values and public moral.
