Russian PM closes CIS intergovernmental oil and gas council

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed the order on closing the CIS intergovernmental council for oil and gas down, ITAR-TASS reports.

The council has been operating since 1993. Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine were part of the council.
