Abkhaz leader awarded medal for WWII veteran efforts

Abkhaz President Sergei Bagapsh was decorated with a medal for outstanding efforts in the field of social security and support for World War II veterans in Abkhazia by the Russian envoy to the republic, ITAR-TASS reports.

Bagapsh expressed his gratitude to Russia for its special attention to Abkhaz veterans.
