Azerbaijan refuses to establish Russian military base in Gabala

Azerbaijan opposes the Russian plan to transform the Gabala radar station into a military base, APA cites sources in the Azerbaijani military as saying.

Presently the station is officially considered to be an analysis center.

Azerbaijani law prohibits the establishment of any foreign military bases on the territory of the country, the news agency explains.
