Iran to start trade of planes

Iran plans to open 15 aviation centers to start selling planes and training, Presidential Assistant Ali Akbar Mehrabian said, Trend reports.

Iranian Minister for Transportation and Housing Ali Nikzad said on Sunday that the country purchased 11 Airbus A320s and A310s since March 20. The president of the Iranian Organization for Civil Aviation said in April that old planes will be replaced with new ones.

IATA passed unilateral sanctions against Iran Air in October 2011. Iran Air’s accounts were frozen, cooperation with the company was stopped.
