Dagestani leader orders inspection of illegal constructions at Derbent

Dagestani Leader Magomedsalam Magomedov has ordered the inspection of illegal constructions in Derbent, RIA Novosti reports.

1120 people, including 280 children, from 320 houses in Derbent experienced a flood on Tuesday-Wednesday night. Magomedov believes that illegal constructions aggravated the flood repercussions.

The families of people killed by the flood will receive 1 million rubles each. Makhachkala Mayor Sayid Amirov urged functionaries and locals to aid them with a daily wage.
