Astana hosts Eurasian Media Forum 2012

The 10th Eurasian Media Forum organized in Astana on October 11-12, 2012, will discuss the Arab Spring, failure of European multiculturalism, Wikileaks and the role of mass media for the public, RIA Novosti reports.

The forum is planned to open with talks about terrorism and its moral aspects. One of the subtopics is the right of Iran for nuclear developments.

Attendants of the forum will exchange views on the benefits of the Customs Union organized by Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The meeting will be attended by journalists, public figures, politicians, political analysts and researchers of Kazakhstan, CIS and other states.

Astana is hosting the forum for the first time in 10 years. The previous forums were held in Alma-Ata.
