Erdogan intends to meet with Saakashvili soon

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a telephone
conversation thanked President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili "for the
democratically-conducted parliamentary elections in the country" and
expressed his desire to meet with him in the near future, News-Georgia
reports with reference to the official website of the President of
Georgia.

Earlier, Vestnik Kavakza reported that, according to the preliminary
results of the parliamentary elections held in Georgia on October 1,
the ruling "United National Movement" transferred authority to the
opposition "Georgian Dream" party, created by Georgian billionaire
Bidzina Ivanishvili.
The Government of Georgia resigned late yesterday evening.
