Over 40 people poisoned with cakes in Kabardino-Balkaria

Over 40 people, including 11 children, were poisoned with cakes and hospitalized in the Urvansky District of Kabardino-Balkaria, RIA Novosti reports.

The first patients arrived on October 10. Five people were hospitalized in Nalchik from Nartkala, Psygansu, Nizhny Terek, Kakhun. The youngest patient is 7 months old, the oldest is 51.

Acting Kabardino-Balkarian Healthcare Minister Anatoly Kantsaliyev ordered special control of the situation. 7 people were discharged on Tuesday, 3 more on Wednesday. Six more children will soon be discharged.
