Icon of Saint Luke of Crimea to arrive in Krasnodar

The icon of Saint Luke of Crimea (Voino-Yasenetsky) will arrive in Krasnodar on October 20 from Odessa (Ukraine). The icon will be available at the Church of Nativity of Christ, Yuga reports.

Luke was a medical professor and a clerical writer, a bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimea. He was a victim of political repressions and spent 11 years in exile. He was canonized as a martyr.

The Russian Orthodox Church says that the grave of Luke cures diseases.
