Moscow Council of Elders dissolved

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has dissolved the Council of Elders formed by his predecessor Yuri Luzhkov on May 31, 2001.

The council was having meetings once a quarter. It consisted of the most proficient former members of the Moscow City Council, Moscow Council, Moscow government, executives with at least 20 years of experience.
