Elections at Azerbaijani Academy of Sciences postponed

President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Mahmoud Kerimov has said today that elections of new correspondents and corresponding members of the academy have been postponed.

He emphasized that the academy’s presidium was operating illegally.

Kerimov announced postponing of elections until the end of the year. The previous elections were held in July 2007.
