Georgian acting defense minister does not plan to return from US

Acting Georgian Minister for Defenses Dmitry Shashkin has not yet returned to Tbilisi from the US.

Shashkin’s official visit ended on October 6. The minister became acting minister on October 10, when the government resigned.

Spokeswoman of the Georgian Defense Ministry Nino Potrzhebskaya told News Georgia that the acting minister had gone on vacation and will resign on Thursday.
