Krasnodar hosts 14th Vechevoy Kolokol Film Festival

The 14th Festival of Orthodox Films Vechevoy Kolokol has started in Krasnodar today, with a screening of the film “War and Peace of Alexander I. Invasion” by Yelena Chavchavadze.

Alexander Bogatyryov, a film critic from Saint-Petersburg, nun Sofi from Obninsk, writer Lev Annensky, an observer of the Foma Magazine Yuri Pushchayev, secretary of the board of the Russian Union of Cinematographers Sergey Miroshnichenko and Editor-in-Chief of the Kultura paper Yelena Yampolskaya were invited to the festival.

The main film screenings will be between Tuesday and Friday. The festival includes meetings with film makers, master classes and seminars with notorious directors.

The Ministry of Culture of the Krasnodar Territory, Eparchies of Yekaterinodar and Kuban are the co-founders of the film festival.
