First skiing route at Armkhi ready

The first skiing route at the Armkhi Resort of Ingushetia will open on November 25, spokesman of Ingush leader Yakub Mankiyev said, ITAR-TASS reports.

The route is 900 meters long, made for beginner skiers, and may be extended by 2,500 meters in the future.

A Doppelmayr cable-car has arrived to the resort and will be installed soon, as stated by Executive Director of Akropol-Gal-Story, Salman Dzangiyev.

Ingushetia plans to launch the Tsori and Armkhi resorts. They will cover 50 square kilometers, have 62 km of skiing routes with 19 elevators. Hotels will have rooms for 12,500 guests. The resorts will have a daily capacity of 28,000 tourists.
