Islamic studies to be introduced in Chechen kindergartens

Islamic studies may be soon be introduced in Grozny's kindergartens, Ekho Moskvy reports on Wednesday.

A corresponding document was issued by the city's administration, the news agency informs.

First deputy head of the State Duma's committee for education, Oleg Smolin, says such a measure will be one more step towards abuse of the secular character of the Russian state.
