Russia thanks Switzerland for mediation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has met his Swiss counterpart Didier Burkhaltier and said that he was unaware about the time Georgia needed to keep using Switzerland as a diplomatic mediator, Interfax reports.

He praised Switzerland for the efforts and expressed hope that all Russians kept in Georgian prisons illegally would be released, RIA Novosti reports.
