Meeting of the Military-Technical Council of the countries of the CIS held in Tula

At a plenary meeting of the Military-Technical Council of the CIS Defense Department held in Tula the representatives of the defense ministries of the post-Soviet countries discussed the state and prospects for maintaining combat training for the armies of the CIS countries in general and Russia in particular by educational technologies.

In particular, they discussed the possibility of organizing a Russian Center for combat training of military personnel. The main requirements for training material with which the Centre will be equipped have been listed.

Prior to the meeting, the participants visited the Tula military plant "Tulatochmash", producing a simulator for training soldiers of various types of ground forces. The representatives of ministries have been offered a presentation of modern educational technologies, the quality of which has been highly appreciated by the distinguished guests.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 8 states: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
