Georgia works on new doctrine of Defense Ministry

Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania said that the new government started work on a new doctrine.

He said that he will realize the program proposed by Bidzina Ivanishvili. Alasania promised to form mobile rapid reaction forces.

The minister emphasized that one of the main goals was de-occupation of the country. The main instruments of Georgia will be diplomacy and restoration of friendly ties with Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The approach will be the basis for the new doctrine.
