PKK members killed while attacking police station in Turkey

The Turkish military have killed 8 members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) during an attack on a police station in the Beytussabap District at the Sirnak Province.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that intelligence services and other states structures would do their best for resolution of the terrorism problem.
The Turkish conflict with the Kurdistan Workers' Party has been ongoing for over 25 years. The PKK demands independence. The conflict has resulted in deaths of over 40,000 people. The UN and the European Union recognize the PKK as a terrorist organization.
