Turkey and UK to continue cooperation
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has had his first meeting in London with new UK Foreign Minister William Hague, TRT reports.
They discussed the issue of renewing a deal on strategic cooperation. They also considered the issue of Israeli's recent attack on Gaza-bound aid ships.
Answering a question about Turkish-Israeli relations, Davutoglu said that Turkey has the right to protect its citizens and it is Israel that should take steps to improve relations. He added that if Israel considers itself innocent it should accept an international investigation. Turkey does not want an investigation carried out by Israel.
