Gazprom to consider purchase of ‘Russia-Armenia’ pipeline

Gazprom expects to see the Georgian gas pipeline North-South in the list of privatized facilities, News.am reports.

A Gazprom spokesman noted that Georgia needs to make a final decision on the issue. Then the company will view the technical-economic grounds for the purchase.

It was reported earlier that the head of the legal committee of the parliament, deputy of the ruling party, Pavel Kublashvili, had proposed the sale of the pipeline.
