Israeli president to become Russian professor

Israeli President Shimon Peres will become an honorary professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) in Moscow on November 7, awarded by RAS President Yuri Osipov.

Promoting Peres to professor has become the first decision of the RAS presidium after the summer break. Only 6 foreign leaders have got such award.
