The leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has issued a warning to the Iranian authorities, the leader's official website reported.

Speaking to students this morning in Tehran, on the eve of marking the 13th Aban, the National Day of Campaigning against Global Arrogance, Khamenei made remarks regarding the country's officials.

"Even if the authorities have differences, those should not be demonstrated, there is no need to point out every mistake," Khamenei said.

The leader was referring to Iran's president, who wanted to visit the country's Evin prison, although the General Prosecutor said that the visit was "inappropriate" at the time.

This was followed by letters regarding the prison visit sent from Ahmadinejad to the Prosecutors office.
