Old Georgian parliament under reconstruction

The old building of the Georgian parliament in Tbilisi is under reconstruction by Kartu Group, Georgia Online reports.

Technical specialists were reportedly summoned to study the building. Zurab Marakvelidze, head of the parliamentary office, denied involvement of staff in the process.

The Georgian parliament moved to Kutaisi this year. The old building was under sale and was to be purchased by the Kempinski Hotel network.
