Armenia’s Heritage Party leader to take part in presidential polls

Leader of the Heritage Party of Armenia Raffi Ovannisyan has announced that he will take part in the presidential elections of 2013, News Armenia reports.

He urged officials of political parties, public organizations and all Armenians to be active during the elections.  The party leader added that democratic elections will provide a new president and competition.

Heritage is a national-liberal party formed by Foreign Minister Raffi Ovannisyan in 2002. The party holds 5 seats in parliament.
