Man tried to place fake bomb in front of mosque in St. Petersburg

A man was detained today in St. Petersburg after he tried to place a fake bomb in front of a mosque, the press service of the Federal Security Service reports.

Vladimir Smirnov, aged 24, also tried to tie a pig's head to the mosque's gates.
