Iranian presidential debates will not be shown live

Chairman pf the Iranian parliamentary commission Amir Hojaste said that there will be no debates of candidates for president shown live in 2013.

The latest TV debates were held in 2009, followed by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's winning the presidential elections.

The next presidential polls will be held in June 2013.
