8 militants caught in Kizlyar

The police detained 8 people with weapons and ammo in Kizlyar of the Kizlyarsky District in Dagestan on Sunday-Monday night.

The militants had an improvised bomb, an RGD-5 grenade and 40 bullets in one of their cars. Two grenades were found in a car on the crossing of the Pobeda Street and the Makhachkalinskaya Street. A man on the Imam Street was caught with a gun.

The police found an AK, two magazines with 59 5.45 mm bullets on the Kizlyar-Kraynovka road. An RPG-26 was found in a car on the Kizlyar - Yasnaya Polyana road.

Two more people with weapons and ammo were detained during an inspection in their house.
