Russian PM wants to focus on energy security

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the ASEM summit that a new structure for energy security was needed to enforce market stability. He wants to improve energy efficiency with account of environmental protection.
Russia plans to increase its share in the Asian-Pacific Region with export totaling 30%. He invited all states to attend the Asian-Pacific energy forum planned in Vladivostok in May 2013.
Medvedev reminded that food continue to become more expensive, causing global social and political instability. Russia considers innovative technologies in exploiting natural resources and improvement of food a priority. Formation of the Eastern Grain Corridor and construction of large grain terminals in the Far East would help achieve the goals.
