Ingush leader becomes most open figure in Russia

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov became the most open regional head in Russia in October 2012, according to a rating by the National Service for Monitoring and the Institute for Independent Political Studies, Yuga.ru reports.

The rating analyzes over 400 federal and 3000 regional sources of mass media, Twitter and LiveJournal posts. Over 88000 messages were analyzed this year.

The top three leaders open for information are Yevkurov, Governor of the Vologda Region Oleg Kuvshinnikov and governor of the Magadan Region Nikolai Dudov.

Yevkurov topped the list by posting an LJ message urging extremists to stop violence. He posted his personal mobile phone. About 100 people called him on the first two days.
