Turkey did not request NATO to set Patriot missiles

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has denied reports claiming that Ankara had asked NATO to set Patriot missile systems on the Turkish-Syrian border, NTV reports.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry reported earlier that Turkey had requested NATO to deploy the systems to protect borders from Syrian artillery shots.
