Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered the head of the
"United Russia" faction, Andrei Vorobyov, to take the post of acting governor of
Moscow region.
The head of United Russia's Duma faction agreed to the proposal, adding that
he did not intend to change the policy of the former governor, Sergei
Shoigu, who has been appointed Minister of Defense of Russia.
