Baku junction subway station to be reconstructed

The head of the Baku Metro, Tagi Akhmedov announced today at the meeting of the heads of the Baku subway and affiliated companies, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the Baku Metro, that a complete reconstruction of the "May 28" metro station will be finished by 2013.
He said that in the future the Baku Metro will consist of five lines, which means that three new lines will be added to the structure, 1news.az reports. The length of all the metro lines will amount to 119 km.
Currently, Baku Metro consists of two lines, its operating length is 34.5 km.
