Ingush leader comments on ban for militant funerals

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has commented on the Chechen idea of banning militant funerals, stating that the law had clear definition of "terrorists" and a point saying that their bodies were not to be handed to relatives.

Remains of people that do not refer to terrorism should be passed to relatives after studying by investigators, he says.

Yevkurov believes that funerals of militants should be a warning for young people willing to join the criminals. He added that it would be better to bury them and forget forever than fight the dead.
