Tbilisi mayor accused of violating regulations

Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava has not been allowed to the Georgian governmental session, APA reports.

The official said that he arrived to the government to discuss social programs of the city, but the prime minister ignored the issues. He received notes stating that he had no right to attend governmental sessions.

Ugulava noted that such thing had never happened during the rule of Shevardnadze.

The mayor is a member of the United National Movement and a supporter of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
