Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said today that Turkey and Israel will not cooperate on Syria and will focus on own security matters instead, Hurriyet reports.
Turkey monitors the Syrian-Israeli border and hopes that the recent incidents would not escalate the conflict on Golan Heights. The incident happened last week when Israel opened counter-fire at Syria. UN peacekeepers approved a set of operations of Syrian troops in the demilitarized zone.
