Jibilov becomes Russian Hero

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on awarding Junior Lieutenant Zaur Jibilov with the rank Russian Hero.

The police officer of North Ossetia was serving at the Kizlyar Road Patrol Post on October 22-23, 2012. He tried to stop a car for checking, but the driver tried to go through without checking. The inspector stopped in front of the car and closed the toll bar. The car driver activated a bomb in the car boot.

Jibilov was killed by the blast, but he saved other officers by warning them about the incident on time.
