Russia cancels practice of attorney powers for vehicles

Starting from next Saturday, a power of attorney will no longer be
needed to drive a car in Russia. Changes have been introduced by decree No.
1156 "On amendments to some acts of the Russian Federation".

This regulation will come into force one week after its publication in
"Rossiyskaya Gazeta", which is expected tomorrow, November 16.

Starting from November 21, a certificate of registration and keys to
the car will be enough to prove that an owner has entrusted his car to
a driver.
