Financial and Banking Council of the CIS says international financial center should be founded in Baku

Azerbaijan can become a city with a regional and international
financial center, the chairman of the Coordination Council of the
Financial and Banking Council of the CIS Anatoly Kazakov said at today's 5th
Baku International Banking Conference "Financial markets of the CIS:
new opportunities and global risks".

"We look forward to the creation of such a center in Baku and we hope
that in future its work will be in cooperation with Moscow, Kiev
and the Almaty Financial Center," Trend quotes Kazakov.

Kazakov added that the creation of an international financial center
within the CIS is one of the main tasks of the Commonwealth.

The conference is devoted to questions of improving the stability of
financial markets in the CIS countries.
