Dagestan could be left without gas due to municipal debts

If Dagestan does not solve the problems of municipal debts for gas,
which now amount to about about 740 million rubles, Gazprom will restrict
the flow of gas, the local branch of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz
Pyatigorsk has stated.
"As of 1 November, the debts for utilities in the republic was 739.5 million rubles.
The greatest concern is the situation with the municipal structures of
Makhachkala, where the total amount of debt owed by enterprises
amounts to 585.2 million rubles, including budget organizations in the Babayurt,
Karabudakhkentsky, Nogai and Hivkogo districts and a number of enterprises
in the industrial sector," the statement reads, RIA Novosti
reports.
