Georgian former defense minister ends up behind bars

Georgian former Defense Minister Irakly Okruashvili was convicted as soon as he returned to Georgia, Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani said.

The former minister was jailed at the Gldani Prison in Tbilisi. Tsulukiani emphasized that the Georgian parliament considered Okruashvili a victims of oppression by the old government.
